Sunday Landscape Painting/Drawing in Beautiful Prospect Park.

Painting – in – the Park Sundays 12-2:30 pm.

Join us for “Painting in the Park,” a delightful Sunday workshop from 12-2 PM in the enchanting Prospect Park, often called the ‘Jewel of Brooklyn’ and designed by Frederick Law Olmstead. In this serene setting, participants of all skill levels will learn to paint and draw natural forms, guided by a friendly instructor who fosters a supportive atmosphere.

No materials? No worries! We supply everything you need—paints, canvas, brushes, easels, and drawing supplies—so you can dive right in and start creating stunning paintings inspired by the park’s trees, flowers, and lush fields.

Unleash your creativity while reconnecting with nature as you master various painting techniques. By the end of the session, you’ll not only improve your skills but also take home a beautiful landscape painting. Join us for this joyful artistic experience and let the beauty of Prospect Park inspire you!

Cost:

1 Session @ $74.95 (+ $10 Materials fee) per student

Framing provided at additional cost per frame.

Description: A perfect adjunct to Impressionist Drawing in color, here we put the lessons the Impressionists taught us to the test. This class requires a half-hour set-up time additionally, so you can get all the time you need to paint and draw a portrait of the jewel of Brooklyn: Prospect Park. 

Please note:  I am available for private 1-on-1 critiques for $48.99 per session (plus travel expenses)  Mon-Thurs from 1 to 3 pm in participants studio. There is no price break for Private Studio Visits.

Terms:

All sessions by reservation.  All Payments are accepted through  PayPal or Venmo.  In the case of cancellations, students are expected to notify us 24 hours in advance. We are very flexible!

Materials:

Wear a Smock! Smock-smock!!
All students are expected to dress down or wear protective clothing because paint does not wash off! Temporary protective smocks are provided FREE!
